Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about finding, bidding on and posting loads with Box Trucks Loadboard.

What is Box Trucks Loadboard?
BoxTrucksLoadBoard.com is a modern load board built for box truck carriers. It also carries cargo van, sprinter van and other light-duty expedited loads, so while the name highlights box trucks, the board serves many vehicle types. Whether you run dock-high straight trucks, non-CDL box trucks or sprinter and cargo vans, we connect you to real-time, broker-posted loads that fit your route and equipment.
Do I need an MC number?
Yes. To book freight through Box Trucks Loadboard you need an active MC number, whether you run a 26ft box truck, a cargo van or a sprinter van. Brokers ask for proof of authority to confirm insurance and federal compliance.
Apply for an MC number with the FMCSA ↗How do I search for available loads?
It's simple and fast:
- Use the state filter at the top of your dashboard to focus your search by region.
- Browse posted loads for box trucks, cargo vans and sprinters.
- Click “View” to open the full load details: pickup time, rate, delivery address and equipment type.
- Click “Submit Bid” to propose your rate and delivery window.
Which truck sizes do you support?
We specialize in box trucks and support a wide range of expedited vehicles:
- 14ft box trucks (non-CDL)
- 16-18ft and 20ft trucks
- 22-26ft dock-high box trucks
- Cargo vans (regular or high roof)
- Sprinter vans (standard and extended wheelbase)
- Straight trucks and hot shot vehicles
Whatever you drive, you can filter loads by vehicle type right in your dashboard.
How do I bid on a load?
To submit a bid:
- Click “View” on any load to see the full details.
- Click “Submit Bid” to open the smart bid form.
- Enter your rate, transit time, equipment and MC number.
- Click “Prepare Email”. Your email app opens with the bid ready to send to the broker.
Brokers often choose on both price and availability. Be clear, fast and accurate to improve your chances, especially on time-sensitive box truck and van loads.
What happens after I submit a bid?
Your bid goes straight to the broker's inbox. Most brokers review bids from several carriers at once, so speed and clarity matter as much as price. Always include:
- A competitive but realistic rate
- Your estimated delivery time
- How far you are from the pickup
- Your MC number and truck specs, for example a 26ft liftgate box truck, non-CDL
If your bid is accepted, the broker replies to your email. If you don't hear back, assume the load went to another carrier. Use the Rate Guide to benchmark bids by miles, urgency and equipment.
Why didn't the broker reply to my bid?
Even a strong bid can lose out. The broker may have picked a truck closer to the pickup, a repeat carrier they already trust, special equipment such as a liftgate or team drivers, or a truck available sooner for a tight delivery window. That's normal in expedited freight.
Keep bidding consistently. More bids mean more loads won, more broker relationships and more repeat business. That's how successful box truck and van carriers grow.
How much does it cost?
There are two plans. Basic is $29/month or $149/year, for cargo van and sprinter loads. Pro is $59/month or $279/year and adds box trucks, straight trucks and semis. Paying yearly saves 50%.
