BoxTrucksLoadBoard.com is a modern load board tailored for box truck carriers, but it also supports cargo vans, sprinter vans, and other light-duty expedited freight vehicles. While our name highlights box trucks, the platform includes a wide range of expedited freight loads that serve multiple vehicle types. Whether you're running dock-high straight trucks, non-CDL box trucks, or sprinter/cargo vans, we connect you to real-time broker-posted loads that fit your route and equipment.

Yes — to book freight through BoxTrucksLoadBoard.com, you must have an active MC number.

This applies whether you're operating a 26 ft box truck, a cargo van, or a sprinter van. Brokers typically require proof of authority to ensure proper insurance and federal compliance.

If you still need to apply, you can register for your MC number here:
👉 FMCSA MC Number Application

It's simple and fast:

  1. Use the state-based filter bar at the top of your dashboard to focus your search by region
  2. Browse posted loads for box trucks, cargo vans, and sprinters
  3. Click “View” to open full load details (pickup time, rate, delivery address, equipment type)
  4. Hit “Submit Bid” to propose your rate and delivery window

We specialize in box trucks, but support a wide range of expedited freight vehicles, including:

  • 14 ft box trucks (non-CDL)
  • 16-18 ft and 20 ft trucks
  • 22-26 ft dock-high box trucks
  • Cargo vans (regular or high-roof)
  • Sprinter vans (standard & extended wheelbase)
  • Straight trucks and hot shot vehicles

No matter what you drive, we have freight options that align with your capabilities — and you can filter by vehicle type right in your dashboard.

To submit a bid:

  1. Click “View” on any load to see full information
  2. Click “Submit Bid” to open our smart bid form
  3. Enter your rate, transit time, equipment info, and MC number
  4. Click “Prepare Email” — your email client will open with the bid ready to send directly to the broker

Note: Brokers often choose carriers based on both price and availability. Be clear, fast, and accurate to improve your chances of being selected — especially for time-sensitive box truck and van loads.

Once your bid is submitted, it's sent directly to the broker's email inbox. From there, the broker will review your information — but keep in mind, most brokers are reviewing multiple bids from different carriers at the same time.

That means speed and clarity matter just as much as price, especially in the fast-moving world of expedited freight.

To give yourself the best shot, always include:

  • A competitive but realistic rate
  • Your estimated delivery timeframe
  • How far you are from the pickup
  • Your MC number and truck specs (e.g., 26 ft liftgate box truck, non-CDL, etc.)

Our platform includes a Rate Guide to help you benchmark your bids based on miles, urgency, and equipment type — take advantage of it to avoid overbidding or undercutting yourself.

Even if your bid was strong, the broker might've:

  • Selected a truck that was closer to the pickup
  • Chosen a repeat carrier they already trust
  • Needed special equipment, like a team driver or liftgate
  • Had time-critical delivery windows that required faster availability

This doesn't mean your bid was wrong — just that another carrier fit that particular need better.

Keep this in mind:

  • If your bid is accepted, the broker will reply to your email
  • If you don't get a reply, assume the load was awarded to someone else
  • Don't take it personally — this is 100% normal in expedited freight
  • Keep bidding consistently — your next opportunity could be just a click away

Pro tip: The more bids you place, the more chances you have to:

  • Win loads
  • Build relationships with brokers
  • Land repeat business

Stay persistent — this is how successful box truck and van carriers grow.
